The Analytics API seems like a super powerful tool, somehow knowing things like who is a return viewer of my site. This makes me think that the API must be able to resolve the specific identities of users (probably through their IP address). Despite this, the dashboards I've been able to find only have only shown summary statistics, not individual habits on my site.
Can you look up individual users the way you can in Segment or Heap using this analytics tool? In those tools (if you configured the underlying site scripts) it is possible to look up users based on email address or some sort of custom set id.
Hey @transcend-dev ,
The Shopify Analytics API is based on the Shopify Reports offered through the Web Admin:https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/reports-and-analytics/shopify-reports/report-types. So whatever information and data you can obtain from these reports in the Web Admin, you can obtain from the Analytics API
Particularly, the Customer Report might help you find the data you are looking for. You can play around with this report and see if you get data as granular as you like.
