Draft orders won't work with multiple currency checkout?

Hey guys,

we're using Draft Orders API in our live upsell app.

We need your help as it appears multi currency checkout does not work well in Draft Orders.

Consider this scenario:

* A merchant has enabled multi currency support through Shopify Payments and Currencies.
* We fill in the required currency information in our API calls.

It seems that the draft order checkout is only opened with the store default currency.

This is a big blocker for us these days as we're growing our user base - merchants expect this to happen and are very unhappy when we tell them that this isn't possible at the moment.

Could anyone share an insight regarding this issue?

Hey @Conversion_Bear,

Selling in multiple currencies is currently only supported on the online store sales channel. All other sales channels, including draft orders, will always be in the shop currency (doc link here). I don't have any details about if/when the feature will be available for other channels, but I recommend keeping an eye on the changelog as any new features will be announced there.

We're having a similar issue, as we use a volume discount / quantity breaks app that also uses the draft order API.

If there is no workaround for this, is it possible to offer volume-based discounts without using the draft order API?
