Hello! I have collaborated with a third party payment processing company and they have provided me with a payment link that I should send to my customers in order to checkout. But I was thinking that it would look odd to have two payment getaways on my Shopify website. And for the fact that it is impossible to edit Shopifys' checkout page, I was thinking of maybe I could remove/hide the Shopify Cart somewhere from my store by code.
And by code also CONNECT another one that would ultimately also add the items the customer added to the cart, and shows the correct full amount to checkout when the customer clicks checkout, and takes him to my Payment Link to pay. (Payment test link:
) Check attached pictures scenario. Then, once the order is placed, the coded integration should also send back to Shopify that an order has been placed for Shopify to send the automated emails to the customer and register the order in its interface.
I hope I was crystal clear, and I really hope I came to the right place. I am willing to pay up to 175$ if it works out this way, or you find another way with the same results. I know it could be a tedious job!
Please note that you can do it anyway you prefer, I just want the final result to be the same. Where customers can check out with their carts to this external link (Test link:
) and once done with the external link goes back to my Shopify store. Most importantly is that the external link should get the checkout (products included information) from Shopify. So that they checkout the right amount automatically. So, Is there anyone comfortable approaching this?
Please find attached a summary steps of one way this could be done, and note the Shopify staff Jordan mentioning it can be done using Hosted Payment SDK.
Check all pictures attached to get a feel of what I am looking for.
