FYI, if you'd like to do this via GraphQL to get this info at the same time you pull an order, you can do so with the transaction > receipt

  orders(query: "fulfillment_status:unfulfilled AND financial_status:paid") {
    edges {
      node {
        transactions {
          receipt
        }
      }
    }

The result of Receipt is a string which needs to be parsed, but it contains the `transaction_fee_total_amount`

Hello @Eden_Corbin,

I'm John from Report Pundit, a reporting and analytics app for Shopify merchants.

There are 2 types of fees deducted by Shopify on each order:

1) Payment Gateway fee - This is fees that is charged by Shopify Payments or PayPal which is around 3% to 4% of net order amount.

2) Transaction fee - This is additional fee charged by Shopify for payment gateway other than Shopify Payments. For example, in the US, 2% of the order amount if the shop is on Basic Shopify plan, 1% for shops on Shopify plan and .5% for shops on Advanced Shopify plan.

With Report Pundit, it is possible to fetch Payment Gateway fee and transaction fee for each order. We have pre-created transaction and billing reports as well. These reports are used by accountants and also to calculate profit reports.

Please contact me at support@reportpundit.com if you have any questions.

Thanks!
