GraphQL Admin API uploadedImages and read_images scope

Hi, I'm in the process of developing an app.

I'm attempting to query the GraphQL Admin API with the following query:

    query GetImages {
        shop {
            uploadedImages {
                edges {
                    node {
                        id
                        originalSrc
                        altText
                    }
                }

                pageInfo {
                    hasNextPage
                    hasPreviousPage
                }
            }
        }
    }

I receive an access denied error, since the read_images scope has not been granted, as documented here. To remedy this I attempted to put this in my app's requested scopes when installing. This however leads to an error saying that the scope does not exist.

Please let me know which scope to request to access uploadedImages.

I have the same exact issue. It appears the read_images scope is protected.

Is this scope one which can be approved manually if we request? I do not know why it would be blocked for everybody in all cases, since the data seems not so sensitive.

I am still having the same issue as well. Has anyone found a workaround? Would not like to use an entirely separate CMS.

Hello all,

Anyone had any luck with this yet?
