I have an external software that connects to one managed store and it syncs available inventory for each item on Shopify every 30 mins.
It was working fine, but since a week ago it just stopped working for some items.
The response seems to be successful but if i check that item on the admin ui, there's no change:

It looks like the inventory level has been correctly set to 0 when I look at this shop, so as far as I can tell all is well at the moment. Am I missing anything, or has the problem been sorted out? If you're still having issues, please let me know!
Hi Josh ! Thanks for your answer, yes it's working for that particular item, but it's still happening on random items. There are more than 2000+ sku so is a bit difficult to keep track.
Deleting and creating again a product fix the issue, but i think the api should return some kind of error so we can log it and fix it.
Can you provide me some kind of log for the inventory updates from the shopify side?

Typically in the event of a problem we would return some sort of error. Do you have an example of a product that encountered inventory issues more recently? I could certainly take a look at our logs to see if anything stands out.
