Is using attribution_app_id to get orders by specific sales channel reliable?

I want to query my shop every night via API to get all orders by a specific sales channel, I have tested this with the attribution_app_id param and it works. I just wanted to know does the attribution_app_id ever change? Is this is a reliable long term way to query orders by a specific sales channel?

From what I've read in other postings on here, these numbers do not change once the sales channel has been implemented on a specific Shopify shop. So if you've hard-coded a specific app_id value mapping to a particular sales channel in your project then it should be fine!
