Hi @Fractured

I ran your homepage through the Shopify Analyzer. It's a free tool our team built for the Shopify community. It looks like your main optimization opportunities involve your images.

You can view your full report here: https://analyze.speedboostr.com/result/fy9rur1k0v

First, I'd download an app like Crush Pics to compress all of your images. Compression will reduce their file size and will help to reduce your overall page weight, which factors into performance.

Next, it looks like you have 10+ oversized images on your home page. The images on your desktop may not be scaling down to adjust to smaller screen sizes. We recommend having mobile images be no larger than 960px and desktop images be no larger than 1500px.

Your images are ranging in size from 1000px to 3000px. To fix this, you could try implementing the srcset HTML attribute to scale your images down in size based on the device they're being loaded on.

Here's an example code snippet on how to use srcset:

<img srcset="{{ your_image | img_url: '1500x' }} 1500w,
             {{ your_image | img_url: '1200x' }} 1200w,
             {{ your_image | img_url: '960x' }} 960w,
             {{ your_image | img_url: '800x' }} 800w,
             {{ your_image | img_url: '600x' }} 600w,
             {{ your_image | img_url: '400x' }} 400w" />

By using the code snippet above, you're basically telling your website to load up the optimal image size ranging from 400px to 1500px.

Apps also have a big impact on your speed score. I'd remove any that aren't essential to your store. You'll also want to check your main theme files for any code related to apps you've uninstalled. Sometimes app code doesn't get 100% removed after uninstallation.

If you'd like to see what other optimizations may be possible, I'd run your other website URLs (Products, Collections) through the Shopify Analyzer. You can also check out our in-depth Shopify optimization guide: How to Optimize a Shopify Site: Complete Guide to Faster Load Speed.
