Navigation menu name

Hi,

Sorry if the question sound dumb. But how can you get menu name in admin/menus or navigation. I don't see any API for that but for every menu app I see there, they can recognize all menu name I created. For example

The navigationItem and settings does not return the shop navigation, but rather the app navigation. So how can I get it?

Okay after research, I figure that ppl create a snippet to get all linklist(a.k.a menu) and then crawl those data from shop via script.
