When removing a line edit from an order via API, is there a way to trigger the Order Edit Notification to the Customer? Looks like it has to be done on a case-by-case basis when you perform this in the Admin.
Trying to avoid surprise of customers opening their received box & not seeing ALL they ordered (can't rely on them reading the Shipment Confirmation email fully).
Im pretty sure the orders/update hook will do that for you.
You point the webhook at your own api endpoint
The webhook will request the endpoint whenever the order is updated and provide details on the order in the request.
From there you can write something up to send an email.
Either that or maybe write something in your code since you're changing via api to send an email as its changed
