Question Regarding Inventory Availability Retention

Hello All,

I hope you are well. I have a question I am hoping one of you can answer:

We transmit inventory availability on an automated schedule via our API. Our current API configuration sends inventory availability only for products with a quantity of 1 or more available. If the product quantity is zero, we do not include it in our inventory transmission. If we do not transmit a zero within the "availableDelta" input field for out-of-stock products, does Shopify retain the last product quantity we transmit?
