Hi.

REST Version: 2019-10

When I retrieve a list of customers, I noticed that verified_email is always true?

Are there any changes planned for this field, does not seem useful at the moment.

Below I created a new customer with no email and it still returns true.

Honestly, I think Shopify is letting their REST API go the way of the ... (insert something extinct).
Seriously, they're going to drop REST soon. I'd recommend moving to GraphQL. I wouldn't be surprised if your problem fixed itself by doing just that.

Most people, it turns out, just aren't interested unless they have to pay for it. Go figure.
