SHOPIFY API CALLS FOR FULFILLING AN ORDER

Hi guys,

 

I would really appreciate if someone can help me out here.

 

I would like to process an order to be fulfilled and was wondering if anyone can help and point me in the right direction.

 

I am wondering if this would be the correct call to use?

so the idea is to click an icon on a 3rd party app (presuming the order is visible on the app) and it will process the order and complete it.  So the customer receives the email notification that their order is on its way, and the order is 'fulfilled' in the back end (admin) section.  Tracking details aren't necessary as we have another api which will send these details out to the customer.

 

if anyone can help me with this it would be REALLY appreciated.

Hi Afshin,

 

I believe you need to create the fullfilment first:

This call requires a location ID to be specified from which the items will be fulfilled. If you want to fulfill *all* items from an order, you don't need to specify the line items. Setting "notify_customer" to true will send out the shipping-confirmation email to the customer.
