Set published_at: null got me "Sold Out" on checkout page.

Hi there, I'm trying to create an offer product via APP. Also setting published_at: null to hide from online store but still be able to buy it via app. When I add that product (via app) to checkout it says "Sold Out" even if I set the "continue selling when out of stock" option.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Hey @murli ,

Are you still seeing this issue?

I have not been able to reproduce it on my end. I have tested what happens when I unpublish a product from the Online Store and only make it published via my app/sales channel. I was able to verify that if I set the "continue selling when out of stock" option on the product, I was able to continue purchasing and creating checkouts for that product via the Storefront API even when the inventory quantity of that product was below 0. I never saw the "Sold Out" option.

All of our products are in stock, and on top we do not track inventory in most cases and have them set to continue selling when out of stock, and they are almost all showing as out of stock when we reach the checkout page. Please can you help? We are unable to continue selling through our store...

Hi @ClothesDoctor ,

For urgent issues like this, I would recommend reaching out to Shopify Support directly instead of coming through to the forums. They will be much better equipped at supporting you here and helping fix this issue as soon as possible.

This forum board is more geared towards answering technical questions about Shopify's APIs and SDKs.
