I have an app that was previously approved but now I need to submit again under a different app because the app listing slug and App Bridge URL extension are wrong. However, now that I created a new app I am getting an auto rejection saying 'App must be served over HTTPS.'. Even though the app is served over HTTPS and I verified it. Also wouldn't I not be able to view the app if it was not served on HTTPS?
The auto-check system seems very unreliable because I was having similar issues the first time getting the app approved. My experience is that it would get through at random submissions with no change in the app. Please let me know if there are any steps I can take to prevent this.
Thanks for the help.
My app - dashboard.moonwalk.com is served over https, all my links in the app setup/listing are https, so I'm not sure what the path forward is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry @timmyg, I have not replied to this but I highly recommend checking out what @Greg_Kujawa had mentioned. I was on TLS 1.2 for my Nginx settings and it prevented me from receiving webhooks from Shopify as well as the automated check when submitting. When I added TLS 1.3 version my webhooks started to work again and the submission process was more smooth.
