Subscription App - No Scope ask from Merchant - Correct?

I just installed my custom Subscription App in my Shopify merchant store, and during the oAuth installation process, the Modal that Shopify prompts the merchant with only shows the scopes in my App, but there are zero visible clues that this App is also a fully enabled Subscription API driven App.

Is that by design, that subscription API Apps do not come with some info for the merchant explaining all the stuff this App can do? It seems like a weird thing to gloss over.

This is an accepted solution.

Hey @HunkyBill,

The scope for subscriptions should show up under "manage orders":

Are you expecting it to be called out further from this screen? I'm not aware of any plans to call this out further on the Oauth screen, but I can definitely submit feedback to our product teams. Let me know what you were expecting to see and I'll send that up.

Heya!

Thanks for the update on where it shows. I never clicked through on the Manage Orders part of things, so I missed that. I figured a subscription-based App would offer more direct views into that, but apparently, since it bundled with orders, so be it! I can safely move on and not consider this a problem!
