Unable to find valid shipping method with custom CarrierService

I've been asked to move this thread here.

I have set up some custom shipping rates, but no valid shipping methods can be found.

"Your cart has been updated and the items you added can’t be shipped to your address. Remove the items to complete your order."

Hey @Bodie_Czeladka 

Can you link us an abandoned checkout where you were testing? My guess is that it is taking too long for your rates to be returned.

Hey @Bodie_Czeladka 

I'm seeing a bunch of "The connection to the remote server could not be established" errors in the logs. Can you try recreating the carrier service and ensure you have the correctly callback URL in place?

Thanks Kevin. 

Can I please ask what the other option is, if us spending time to redo this again doesn't resolve this issue? It's going to take us backwards and additional time to do this again, so I want to make sure if we do this, it will be successful and that we have exhausted all other options.

Hey @Bodie_Czeladka 

My assumption is your endpoint is "http://polaris.dilatedigital.com.au/shopify/rates.php" but from our logs it doesn't appear that is the URL that was setup in the carrier service. Again, I would suggest updating your carrier service and that should resolve your issue.

Hi Kevin

It looks like after removing and reinstalling this app, and troubleshooting a number of areas, we have resolved it. 

We are going to undertake testing today but is it possible for you to please remove the site from being in a state of disabled transfer. I believe this happened when we started trying to test this app and to try and connect it.

Thanks Kevin. I have tried to get in touch and a resolution from them for about a week, so will keep trying.
