Upgrade app after successful submiting

I have a free app that is successfully submitted to App Listing Store on Shopify. Now I want to significantly upgrade my app to a new version (paid plan maybe). I tried to find official requirements but receive no one. Please help me:

- Should I need to resubmit again?

- Is there any effect on my old customers in case I change the Pricing plan?

I believe you do not need to re-submit your entire app. However if your app will need to require new access scopes and permissions, your customers will be prompted to accept these new permission and access scope changes before they can use your app again.
