We have a merchant that has a legacy wholesale solution for couple hundred of their long term B2B customers.
They would like to move that over to Shopify because they're now very familiar with the platform through their B2C channel that has been built over the last couple years.
However, in near-term they would like to keep their current model of pricing and payment terms (which is invoice based with individual price lists for each customer).
So there would be no payments processed directly through Shopify and prices would need to be dynamic.
Now I understand that this is possible by utilizing Draft Orders with custom discounts or variants. However, it seems that this is no longer allowed due to changes that came into effect on January 1st, 2021.
Unauthorized use of an alternative to Shopify Checkout is not permitted for all apps.
Is this use case still viable in any capacity or their only option is to go the standard Shopify route with a simpler loyalty setup?
