app listing text in app icon

Hi everybody,

I am receiving this warning text when trying to submit for review my app:

Requirements that must be met before initial screening

1. Text should not be present in the app icon of any languages.
   Text detected in app icon: English
2. Text should not be present in the key benefit images of any languages.
   Text detected in key benefits: English

I don't have any text in the images other than a "$" sign in the app icon.

It seems the app was approved anyway, even with these errors.

I have the same problem here... when you say app was approved, did it not put it back into Draft status and give you ability to Submit App again?

I just resubmitted having seen this post.

I submitted the app with those warnings because my icons did not contained any text and it was approved. I don't know if it's the same scenario for you. You have to make sure your icons don't have text in them.

If the app logo contains text, how can a company change that. There are still many apps in Shopify app store where they have text and other symbols. How can a company changes its actual logo. Any wok around for this. Trying to reach Shopify partner support but no answer from anyone on phone support.
