curlHttpApiRequest( - was working fine 24hours ago

It fails after it reaches this line: $response = $this->curlHttpApiRequest('POST', $url, '', $payload, array());

There is no change / editing / failure - all of a sudden I am getting this error and complete header as below

$url = "https://{$this->shop_domain}/admin/oauth/access_token";
$payload = "client_id={$this->api_key}&client_secret={$this->secret}&code=$code";
$response = $this->curlHttpApiRequest('POST', $url, '', $payload, array());
$response = json_decode($response, true);

why does CURL throw an exception now???

You are referencing a PHP client library that is not developed by Shopify – Shopify will not be able to provide any assistance for this.

Could not resolve host: {shopname}.myshopify.com

Can you ping this host from your application server? If not, you may have a network traffic issue.

the exact response is this

Could not resolve host: estore.myshopify.com; Unknown error#0 /home/proj/public_html/app/client.php(33): ShopifyClient->curlHttpApiRequest('POST', 'https://estore....', '', 'client_id=39e0...', Array) #1

 /home/proj/public_html/app/install.php(81): ShopifyClient->getAccessToken('eb718b290...') #2 {main}

from my laptop

PING: estore.myshopify.com - works fine

PING: Server - works fine

I understand the 3rd party library - PHP - shopify wont support - however an app that was working and now shopify support response was "we have not received any AUTH request since last 5 days" exactly because the curlHTTP... is throwing an exception.

I need to solve this asap - the client is going wild and losing installs as well as subscriptions and all marketing expense.

Where you are pinging estore.myshopify.com is that with our without https? That's a good thing to look into first as you may be having localised issues with https comms. Network or server infrastructre / setup can change so you'd want to rule out those first before going to down the line to Shopify side.

Hello, @Mark_Walter @Amit_Porwal @Jason

I am new to Shopify apps and am still under the app development process , my apps are in review process.

Everything was working fine before but today i faced the same issue - curlHttpApiRequest.

Can anyone please help me if they have any solution? My app can be checked anytime and making me nervous.
