this is the first time this issue occurs and I'm wondering why.
A customer placed an order an hour ago and I can find him by manually srolling through the customer list. He has a valid, active account and placed a paid order.
The problem is: The account can't be found by searching for his e-mail address through the admin search form as well as the customer API search endpoint.
So all apps using that endpoint assume he does not have an account and deny external login / order validation.
Could this be some kind of caching / late update issue?
EDIT: This seems to affect all customers who created an account during the past 1-2 hours.
Was this resolved? If not, can you provide more information or contact our support team?

Thanks for your reply @vix !
Apparently it was a temporary issue (I suspect caching or sth similar). We contacted the support directly, they told us that they were having problems with the system around that time. A few hours later the issue was resolved. Maybe due to the high load around the holidays? IDK
Anyway, glad that it's working again
