Add a question to a product.

Hi,

 

I am looking for an app which allows me to add a questions to my product.

It would have to be a drop down selection and the customer will have to choose the correct answer before adding the product to their cart. 

Even if it is an options app which allows me to replicate that sort thing.

Karlie here from the Shopify Guru Team! It sounds like your best bet would be to use a product options app. There are a few apps that I have in mind that might work for the functionality you're looking for. 

 

I would recommend checking out the apps;

If you're curious about any of the features that those apps offer - I would suggest simply reaching out to the app developer. You can use the 'Support' section on the app page found in the Shopify App Store to reach out to the app developer. 

 

There is also a manual option that you can consider. If you follow along to this guide, you can see how to adjust your theme coding to add in customization information for your customers to choose on the product page.

Looking for this same thing since Shopify does not offer any bot protection at order and check out. I found a third party app but they want .5% of your sales each month. LMAO.

Hi Karlie...I checked your suggestions but what I believe the OP is asking for is a way to keep bots from ordering. Alot of shops are adding a question that only a human can answer before placing an order. Captcha is not keeping out bots, nor does Shopify offer bot protection at the order/check out level unless you're on Shopify Plus...which unfortunately most small shops can't afford or really need. Anyway...there's got to be some way to protect the ordering process from bot attack. Do you have any ideas on this beside using a third party? I checked into that and there's really only one out there offering a captcha-style protection and they want .5% of your gross sales per month. No thanks.
