Any suggestions for on how to create a nice looking blog. Need recommendations.

The blogging functions on Shopify are poor. They don't look good at all. I don't want to go with WordPress on a subdomain, I need it on the main website to get all the SEO benefit. Is there a simple way to create blogs that integrate with my store? I have given Shogun a try but its takes a long time to create the blog and there is a limit on how many blogs I can create. It costs $40 a month!!!!!!

I am looking for ideas and inspiration on how I can create good looking blogs on the store. Any ideas and suggestions are highly appreciated.

There is a great app called Blog Studio that is an awesome alternative to Shogun. Since it focuses on just blog building, it's a lot cheaper than Shogun at $14.95/mo instead of $40/mo. It's a drag and drop builder that you can use to create templates or use one from their line of premade templates. From there, you can create your blog posts with ease.

Shopify itself can produce pretty rich blogs but it does require creating the templates you want for blog display and design.

None of this is automated though .. but once you set up template types it expands what you can do beyond the default page/post starting point.
