Best live chat app?

As in topic. Which live chat you use and why? I want to make it on my website but I don't really know which one should I use. Any advices?

Tidio Live Chat have the most reviews in there, and they also offer a free option as well- https://apps.shopify.com/tidio-chat

Tawk-to is another free app that looks really great as well, and they offer 24/7 support- https://apps.shopify.com/tawk-to

I did use Tawk-to but have switched to Facebook Live chat as I have a business page there too, this seems to work better for me https://apps.shopify.com/facebook-live-chat it was so easy to install and you can change the image and the text shown to customers  and its Free!

Thanks for both replies. I don't want to use tawk because it's free and I think that it may cause exploits on my website. Actually because of that I don't want to use ANY free software. About facebook - thanks for letting me know but I believe it's still branded by facebook somehow? And does people need to have facebook to contact with you via this?

if you look for paid service than you should check http://livechatinc.com - they keep updating their software all the time and it's really good!

Hi,

If you do not have a Facebook business page then I guess its not for you, I do however and its a great tool to get website customers to your Facebook page also and also Facebook customers to your Website. This has increased my sales for sure. Many sales are now done via social media so this is truely great for that purpose. Good luck in your search for an app that suits your purpose.

I'm an app developer but we had to look for live chat app for site too :)

Tried Zopim but it is paid by concurrent chats and agents number...

I really love this one - Chatra (https://apps.shopify.com/chatra)

I'm having the same issue at the moment. I read everywhere about live chat being great for extra sales, and I've had Lucky Orange installed for a couple of months now.... and so far I've only had one chat instigated.

Not sure whether to try another chat service or just put it down to low traffic numbers. We get about 65 unique vists per day.

Hi Sophie,

Thanks for posting! Are you finding that your customers are emailing rather than chatting? If so that might be something to investigate for sure! You could always reach out to your customers to ask their opinion on that using a Poll for example, or see if it perhaps just isn't visible enough!

I took a look at your website and didn't actually see any live chat option on there at all!

Here is a really great blog post on the positives of using live chat- which has the highest positive response rating of all customer service channesl!
