Can't Login Shopify App

In the Shopify Mobile App on Android I am going around and around between the login screen and screen with choice of accounts to login.

I updated the OS, deleted the user data, reloaded the App several times, rebooted the mobile several times: problem persists).

I loaded the shopify app on an old spare phone: it worked there (except for teh switching between my shops, which has become switching of accounts ?). 

Any suggestions ?

Hey, @Jack_olson!

Thank you for the screenshot and for letting me know your custom domain name. When I try to visit the domain snapnchargeit.com, it appears that the domain is not yet linked to a Shopify site. Could you please reply back and let me know your full .myshopify.com URL? Also, could you please try logging into your account on a non-mobile browser to see if you're able to gain access? 

@niascosmetics, welcome to the thread, and also to the Shopify Community! I'm sorry to hear you're also having some issues logging into your account. From the screenshot you shared, it appears that you may not have access to the shop you're trying to log into. Are you the Account Owner of that shop, or are you a staff member? Also, have you been able to log into the account in the past?

Same issue here. All was fine until I had to change my password and now i cant use the app. This error shows up. I have tried many many times. Pls help!

Hi, I spoke at great length with Shopify support to resolve this problem.

Their conclusion was: "It is the hardware / device fault. Please do a hard
reset: bring the device in its original factory stare (meaning all apps and
data gone), and reinstall everything, including the Shopify App."

Needless to say that I haven't tried this as yet.

I do think that the Shopify app, can be modified to avoid this behavior.

Hey! Terrible answer from Shopify. I will not reformat my phone because of an issue they are having with their app. Too bad. You say the Spopify app can be modified. What do you mean by this and how can I manage it? Thnks!

Oops, meant to say: Shopify can darn well modify their app to catch this
behavior.

But, although I have seen others having this issue ... this doesn't seem to
be high on their priority list.

When I click on login --> It shows the right account --> Once i click on my account... it loads and takes me to the login screen again! Nothing else happens. Sequence is as shown below --

1. Deleted user data

2. uninstalled the app and reinstalled

But it's still the same. Please help.

Yep, precisely my experience as well.

Shopify's support's advice is: a hard factory reset of your mobile, wiping
all apps, all data, everything. I haven't tried that as yet.

I im from germany, (sorry for my bad english)

 

i have the same problem.

today i get my complete new tablet (Android).

i want to use it as a POS System.

 

first app i install was Shopify

second app i install was shopify pos.

 

i cant login! 
i tried everything like u guys.

refresh passwort, delete apps.....

 

i dont work!

on my iphone and laptop it work!

 

PLEASE SHOPIFY FIX THIS PROBLEM!

I FOUND THE PROBLEM AND NOW ALL WORKS!

 

thats funny....

i write „patrickpauliner@gmail.com“

but my shopify acc is named“

“patrickpauliner@googlemail.com“

 

not everything works
