Can't upload more than two photos using app

Hi,

Since yesterday I've been unable to upload more than two product photos using the Shopify app. Everything was working fine until yesterday and nothing has changed as far as I know. I am able to select several photos from my camera roll but only two then show up for the new product. How can I fix this?

Have you checked the filesize of the images?

If even one of them is too large, it can error out the upload. Confirm the filesizes first and see if they meet requirements: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/os/using-themes/change-the-layout/images#upload-limi...

I have checked and the images are below the limits. They are the same size images I've been using all along which were working okay.

Yes thanks. I should have said that this is happening on two iPhone's. I have the app installed (with the same account) on a third iPhone and it works okay. It also works okay on desktop. 

It's very strange because nothing has changed as far as I know to cause this issue.

Are they all the same spec iPhone? I wonder if the the app is running out of system resources on the lower spec iPhones. Do you have spec of the three iPhones? Another things to keep in mind, is you should log out of Shopify regularly if you are uploading or editing lots of products, as Shopify can be very buggy if you don't give it a rest every 5 to 10 minutes or so (depending what you are doing and how much resources your device is taking up to carry them out).

They're all relatively new (1-2 years) so within a generation of each other. I have deleted the app and reinstalled several times on the two iPhones but to no avail - the issue persists.

Hopefully they can assist you, as it seems possible that there is a problem with the app.
