We are a UAE based startup, delivering our product ourselves (courier is to expensive for us for now).
We have an ongoing challenge with orders we fulfill, the customers don't provide their accurate delivery address. In UAE street addresses are not common, people just mention building names or neighborhood names normally along with unit/house number.
WHAT WE NEED
So what we are looking for is an app that asks the customer to verify the delivery address and possibly update the pin if needed. Once the address has been validated via Google Maps or other through customer confirming/placing the pin where needed, the order is updated with the correct information.
After the delivery is completed, we send a message to our customers to send us a pin to their location. As you can imagine, this is less than ideal!
Appreciate your guidance!
We built an address authentication tool for addresses here in Australia that would pull orders in and then check it against Google Maps and respond with any adjustments required.
In your scenario I'm not sure if you could do it during the checkout process. An option would be to include a link in confirmation email where the user clicks and confirms address or we run an automation to attempt to check it in Google Maps and if they don't agree they update it afterwards.
