I have hulk volume & tiered discounts installed to allow me to run various tiered pricing deals. I have now installed another app called upsellio which allows customers to get a free item with selected products / collections. Only one problem is that if a customer fills their cart with some products which have a hulk discount applied to them and other products which get an upsellio free item, the one discount does not work.
Is it just me, or is anyone else finding it a lot harder to get support from shopify than before?
You can set all automatic discounts via Selly, so no need to use the scripts.
Coming from someone who has worked with automated discounts (See Active Cart in Signature) similar to tiered discounts, I would recommend contacting the app developers for support.
Hey @Risa the Selly app is awesome however we have to use the Shopify Scripts tiered discount as the Selly > Motivator that we setup gives the discount to the order total, not the product line items specified. When the cart total hits the "Goal" of $99 (10% discount), $149 (15% discount), $249 (20% discount), we need the discount to only apply to the trigger products. Right now Selly applies the discount to the cart total, not the trigger products (e.g. - non sale or clearance products) within the cart. The issue with the "Apply to trigger products only" is the "Minimum purchase amount) isn't the cart total, it's the minimum purchase amount of the "trigger" products. It's so close to working the way we need it to.
Like the previous poster stated though, the issue now is if we add a Selly discount items into the cart, the Shopify Script doesn't run so we're in a bit of jam.
