Excelify app isn't including line item data during orders export - anyone else having this issue?

Excelify has been awesome at importing/exporting a lot of stuff that default Shopify export won't handle.

 

It has an option to include line item data when exporting orders, but I am trying to setup a recurring export and the resultant CSV doesn't not include any line item data. It used to - I've used this feature before, but now it's simply not working. There are no columns in the CSV related to line items, and yes I checked the box on the export config.

 

I'm hoping other merchants are experiencing the same? Can you try it and see?

 

Excelify customer support, usually very good, has been ghosting me and my team after their first reply on this topic, where they told me to check the line items box. Not helpful, and it's been almost 3 weeks now.

Hey there!

 

Renars here from the Excleify.

 

I believe that I have tried contacting you to your email address about this issue as you also left us a message in our support.

Could you doublecheck all folders in your mailbox for our emails?

 

The issue for you is that for your weekly backup you have selected "Line Item Product Data" not "Line Items".

That is why Line Items themselves are not exported.

You would need to cancel this weekly export and create a new one with the "Line Items" checkbox selected :)

Hey Renars, I don't know what to tell you... I don't see anything in my inbox or spam folder. I've searched twice weekly since original request and response.

 

That said, I get what you mean now about "check the Line Items box" - that seemed like silly instruction because the other box is called "Line Items Product Data" and doesn't indicate that it's required to check "Line Items" for "Line Items Product Data" to work.

 

So I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, I definitely don't have any email from y'all except from my most recent ticket (submitted last night) and the original reply, and thank you for the extra support. We're up and running.

Sorry for the late reply and for the confusion.

 

Since "Line Item Product Data" can anyway be only exported with "Line Items", then I have issued this to the app developers, so when you will have "Line Item Product Data" selected then "Line Items" will also get exported.

I hope this will help you and other merchants in the future. :)
