Facebook / 500 - Server error

Hi,

Im have tried to connect my facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/AugustHues/) to my new Shopify account (https://august-hues.myshopify.com) through either the facebook sales channel and through the Facebook Pixel id in online store. In both cases I get a Facebook / 500 - Server error. I have checked on the cookies (enabled) and tried different browsers (chrome and edge), but am getting the same error message. Appreciate any suggestions or help here.

Although this post is now a few days old, are you still experiencing these issues? If you haven't tried already, open a separate browser than the one you're currently using and see if the issue persists there. Using Google Chrome is the best, as this is the browser that Shopify was built on and is officially supported.

Otherwise, let me know if this is still ocurring and if you have any screenshots of the error as well. I do also want to mention, that this would be a great issue/question to bring to our direct support lines so our support team can work with you directly on finding a solution. i just experienced this error as well. My instagram account also got deintegrated recently and i had to put a new code in for it to reappear as a feed on my website. The shop section was active then disappeared from my facebook business page and will not reconnect...

I've had the same problem. I used chrome and it seems to have fixed it. Also make sure you are an admin on the FB page you are connecting.

@cielo-handcraft ,@Clara21 @danielles20 @LEATHERFEATHER  @Kyle_Christeson Do you have access to your web server log files. 500 server error means some error is thrown at the web server. Easiest method to troubleshoot is having a look at the the web server's log for any errors. If you can provide any errors you are seeing in the log files, may be I can guide you to resolve.

Had a similar issue under Safari. Using chrome helped to connect my Facebook page to the Shopify store.
