To confirm, is this error message appearing directly in the 'Facebook' section of your Shopify admin, or is this showing up on Facebook's end? So that I can help look into this further, can you please send me a screenshot of this error message?

I am having the exact same issue.
I have followed all the steps your have listed- the first 2 steps I already had in place. Although, when I follow the correct procedure for step 3, there is not option to add a shops tab. All other tabs are there, but no shops tab is possible. How should I proceed?
