Sorry if my descriptions are not on point, i use the german version of shopfy.
I sell print on demand products, so my products are set to "sale if not in stock" and "don´t track inventory".
I send my products to the google merchant center through the stadard shopping app, and my products are correctly set to "customized product", "new" and have the correct Google product niche.
Despite having everything right, as far as i know at least, the column "availabilty" in the merchant center stays empty.
The feed is not having any errors. Shipping and taxes are set up correctly in the merchant center.
What is wrong with this app?
Please note, on-demand products are not allowed on Google Shopping. All products need to be in stock in your warehouse. Here is the policy: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150127
As far as I know you need to place them in stock in Shopify.
Alternatively, you have two other options.
1) Create a supplement feed and include the product id with an availability column set to in stock. https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7439058?hl=en
2) Use a different data feed solution such as feed management tools that allow you to edit data using import rules and or manually edit the data.
Hope this helps.
i tried that too. Every product and variation to 100 in stock and "let shopify track inventory." Waited a few days. Nothing. deleted the feed and the app and reinstalled both. Nothing.
Strange enough: when i go into a product, it says "availability: in stock(Verfügbarkeit: Auf Lager)"
But this damn column is staying empty:
And i can not set up shopping campaigns, because there are no products available in Germany:
I don't see that as a Shopify issue, if the final attributes under Google Merchant Center > Products > All products > click on a product. Says that it is in stock.
Then there must be a technical issue with Google. I recommend you contact them here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7218750
