Good Morning,
We have been using the Google Shopping App for several months and had some success. I have reached out to Shopify support for the Google Shopping App requesting assistance with enabling Local ads for the feed and they have stated that feature isn't supported. I have reached out to Google asking for assistance on how to enable the Content API for Local ads and they have been no help either.
Is there another app or procedure for sending my inventory into Google Shopping Local ads (Available Nearby)?
Sincerely,
JCA

You can use datafeedwatch.
And here are some steps you need to take:
Hi there, you can use ShoppingFeeder to create a feed for local inventory ads, as well as feeds for google shopping, facebook, all the major channels and more. You can find ShoppingFeeder in the shopify app store.
Our Insights article on local inventory ads will walk you through the entire process, there are quite a few tasks involved. Please message me if you have any questions.
This is an accepted solution.
Just a followup to my original post.
I ended up going with "Advanced Google Shopping Feed App for Shopify" instead of using the Google Shopping app. The new app allowed us to post our products via Google Shopping, Google Ads, + Google Local. The folks supporting the app (Dennis) were very helpful in making sure our local feeds contained the proper information for Google.
The Google local feeds are just one piece of the puzzle. Google local makes you jump through several hoops before posting products. Once I had the proper local feeds it took at least another 30 days before we were active on Google Local.
