Help with Bold Product Options

Hello. I need some help with the app Product Options by Bold. I've looked around their FAQ and didn't see anything relating to my issue, so I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me.

 

My store is print on demand. I'm using the bold product options to give the customer the option to also purchase the raw design file with their order for an addition cost. To do this, Bold creates an invisible product in my store and attaches the price to it.

 

After doing this it's completely messed up my shipping. I've gone and added this invisible product to my shipping profiles and nothing. I created separate shipping profiles with this invisible item in it, and nothing.

 

This is the error message i am getting when testing a purchase:

 

Your cart has been updated and the items you added can’t be shipped to your address. Remove the items to complete your order.

Also, on the product page in my shopify admin, there is no option to untick "this is a physical product".
