Here is the "Shopiforce" app available on Shopify marketplace: https://apps.shopify.com/shopiforce which gives you a smooth experience connecting with Salesforce. You can try it for free for 14 days

I found an alternative to this. There is a connector tool called Automate.io which looks much simpler to use. And what I like about it is that there are readymade templates for popular use cases. shop-sf.pngHere is the link of their integration page: https://automate.io/integration/salesforce/shopify

Hi, just want to know if there's a way we can link the Orders/Opportunities pushed from Shopify to the existing Accounts/Customers in Salesforce? And if the Customers are not yet existing, will it creates a Customer in Salesforce and link to the Orders? Thanks

What's your experience been like? I am just starting to look into this. We need to embed a donation form (Causeview  / Salesforce) into our Shopify site.
Is this app overkill? It seems like such a simple thing and customer support with automate.io has been non-existent so hard to get answers.

You can create a workflow like this with multiple conditions and validation checks for the customer in Salesforce once the order is confirmed within Shopify on our platform. Happy to help, please reach out at hello@pandaflow.io

I don't know if my message is too late. I've developed a Salesforce and Shopify integration... It's a Salesforce package with contains the objects, apex classes, and flows to add your customer and orders in Shopify to Salesforce.

https://github.com/greenxolutions/salesforce-shopify

It's an unmanaged package in Salesforce then you can customize the flow and mapping the data between Shopify and Salesforce.

Once you set your Shopify store (one or more than one), it creates a webhook for customers and orders. It means that the orders are pushed to Salesforce once it's created in your Shopify. The Shopify Order JSON contains the Customer data. So, the contact is created in Salesforce.

As the Order is not related to Contact in Salesforce, it's through Account... I follow HEDA architecture in Salesforce

This package includes two flows, one to manage the Customer integration and one to manage the order integration. You can modify it if instead mapping Shopify Order with Salesforce Order you want to map Shopify Order with Salesforce Opportunity.

I appreciate your comments.

Thanks,
Pedro

Is this able to do bi-directional?

What's the disadvantage of a bi-directional sync with Salesforce when you have users who log in as guests?

What's the disadvantage of a bi-directional sync with Salesforce when you have users who log in as guests?

Is it better to only have one direction? How would the syncing allow for payments to push from Salesforce to Shopify?

bi-directional sync is driving a confusion around having one source of truth. It also depends on the intention. What would be a benefit? Would you like to trigger an order from Salesforce? It doesn't make much sense. Please reach out to support@shopiforceapp.com if you want to talk in more details or setup a call.
