I went into my manage private apps section as I simply want to turn on my private app and I wasn't able to turn it on. I am the owner of the account.
There is no contact number to reach customer support, considering that this is a large platform with many sellers is it appearing as if no one wants to handle customer service. It is extremely frustrating.

This option can be enabled by clicking "Manage private apps" at the bottom of the Apps section of the Shopify admin, after which a button labelled "Enable private app development" can be pressed. This action can only be performed by the account owner and not any other member of staff.
