Moving from X-Cart to Shopify

I'm moving from X-Cart to Shopify and there are a few things my cart does based on custom mods that I'm looking to do with Shopify that are important to my business and I hope you guys could help a newby out. 

1. Currently my cart is programmed such that if you purchased Product A Version 1, then you when Product A Version 2.0 comes out, then the cart will adjust, say, a 50% discount for Product A Version 2.0. Is there a module that does this? 

2. When selling software, I like to provide users with the ability to download the newest versions of the software at all times from their admin area. Please recommend a mod that does this. 

3. What's your opinion on the best module to serve digital downloads.

4. Anyone else have experience moving 10,000 orders and users over to Shopify?

I hate to say it but they are such different products. Xcart has an absolute ton of features but not an amazing array of apps. But Im just trying to get Shopify working now & its missing SO much. I do physical products & its like looking into an endless abyss of nothing so far.

So you are missing X-Cart?
