Multi Country Inventory and Fullfillment

Hello,

I have read most of the articles on multi country setup using Shopify, my concern is simple, we have 4 countries where we have stock and fulfil orders from:

1. Qatar

2. Pakistan

3. UK

4. Saudi Arabia

We have the same products across all countries but different prices and different inventory count per country. Prices we have found an App for.

But we dont want to show an out of stock product or variant to a customer from say UK when it is out of stock over there.

How do we handle this?

We do notice that Shopify lets us specify separate inventory count per location but this is not appearing on the front end...

Hi there!

If you want to display differnet stock availabilities, prices across 4 inventories/locations, it's better you have 'multiple' e-commerce stores to serve each domains. For example, exampleshop.co.uk for UK, and exampleshop.com.pk for Parksitan. In this way, you could control prices, stock, shipping costs etc. flexibly.

On the front end, you could use Geo Targetly solutions to detect your visitors locations by country and auto direct them to corresponding sites. For example, if your visitor is from Qatar, and it goes to exampleshop.com, it will auto direct your visitor to exampleshop.com.qa. Its particularly Geo Redirect tool is easy to set up redirecting rules within a few steps. No code is necessary by yourself. Shopify platform is perfectly supported.

Hope it helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Hey Fireox,

I was having the same problem and I think I've finally found the solution, although it is still quite limiting:

https://www.mlveda.com/multi-country-pricing-shopify.html

You can do that here. I'm currently doing this in my shop.

We can be "SOLD OUT" in the Philippine market, but can still sell when someone accesses it outside the Philippines, for example the US since we have stocks in the PH and the US.

The only concern here is that your variants are severely limited - a max of two for the product and the third would be accessed by the app. Any more and the app won't work. Plus it can only work on certain themes and doesn't work well with other apps that has to do with changing the prices on the actual live product page.

Hope this helped!

Hi Michael,

I saw your reply on this particular question – does this mean we need two separate shopify accounts for each of the country sites?

Thanks!
Sam

Yo @samkangkim ,

exactly that! We work with multiple merchants creating a store architecture for that, so you can have multiple storefronts using the same backend processes.

if you are interested, you can write us at info@webmefy.com, we will be happy to help you!

Hey mate,

Thanks for your suggestion!

Does this mean that I would need to pay multiple Shopify subscription fees for the different stores?

Cheers,

Daniel

Had anyone found a solution to this problem?

I am facing the same issue and becoming increasingly difficult to manage as we grow
