I'm trying to achieve this using Zapier webhooks, but it's not working. @Red_Cap_Tom if you guide me to understand what I'm doing wrong, I'd very much appreciate it. I don't really know what I'm doing with webhooks, I enabled "silent mode" just in case (it doesn't work in any case)

Thanks for posting this awesome tutorial. I've made it to step three and have a bit of an issue with my article.liquid file. I don't see a form comment section. I've added it below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey @jonthornham - that usually means that the actual comment form is in another file, that is imported into your code.
Can you also check in 'sections/article-template' and the 'shop-now' pages? The form is probably in one of them.
BTW, since you're running Shogun and I'm not sure what their policy is re posting full code, I'd suggest you just take a look through the pages and not post a full excerpt of them.

Strange that there has not been a working app that solves this problem for so long. Take a look at the "Nuttifier Blog Comment Emails" app. It addresses the problem and works out of the box without the need for a complex setup.
After installation, it will start sending notifications to the shop's admin for all comments. You can, however, configure the notifications recipient as well as the comment statuses for which notifications are triggered.
A good friend of mine has a shopify blog and he was desperate for some way to be notified of comments through email and manage them.
It looks like a common problem, so I created an app that:
- sends you an email notification for each comment
- lets you approve or delete the comment from the email
- you can reply to the email to post a new comment
- you see the commenter's email address.
I was hoping to make it free but it was a fair bit of work in the end so there is small monthly charge.

At this point, Shopify's unfortunate failure in this regard forced me to set up a WordPress blog,
and set up menu-entries to get to the store and back.
I hope Shopify gives you a good price for the app, and integrates it into their offering.
I wrote up an evaluation of Shopify's terrific features for social media interactions.
But I had to include this one anti-feature.
It's the only thing missing from their stable!
