Need a reliable Purchase Order App to help us work with multiple drop shippers

I'm reaching out for serious app endorsements. We are developing a car parts store where we are working with multiple drop shippers and I need a multiple drop shipper solution that works, rather than a half basked App that promises and doesn't deliver. Is that too much to ask? Happy to take advice on the best way to do this.

Essentially we need it to be able to split orders and send POs automatically to each drop shipper and thats pretty much it. My client will be carrying some stock too but can be treated as a drop shipper too if it makes things easier. We need to be notified when there has been an order and for the PO to be fully customisable. And thats it!

We will eventually have in excess of 50 different parts suppliers covering all makes and models of vehicles so I need something reliable and scalable.

Thanks Mozzo but we're not really looking for a full ERP app and the monthly cost that comes with tools like that.

Understood @jeffriley, but though our solution does a lot, our approach is to be modular and have you pay only for what you need. Later, when your client grows and needs more, they can continue to stay on our platform rather than have to have a stitched together solution of a bunch of different apps. As such, we target any company size from solopreneur to a 200 person team.

For example, would it be beneficial to also post those POs to their financials system (QuickBooks, Xero, etc) to save that administrative overhead? Post the sales order to financials as well? What about their stocked inventory? We can (now) at least keep their books in sync on what they have, their average COGS, etc. Maybe later, we can help them know when and how much of their inventory to order and direct the order pick, pack, and shipping process.

Plus, though we've been around awhile, we are new to the Shopify ecosystem and hence looking to be aggressive to get new clients here. As such, you'll get over the top, one-on-one phone support, and I we don't want price to be an issue.
