Sending a PDF when a customer buys a Gift card

Hi,

Is there any way that when a customer buys a gift card, i can set it up to automatically send a PDF that will have the voucher code and expiry date generated on it?

This is pretty much what you are after. The key things with it is it can be attached to any product in your shop, and the 'receipts' are fully customisable with Liquid. So you can grab any data out of the order, like a gift card reference and expiry date.

Do you sell gift cards that can be redeemed at your Shopify store? Or are they external gift cards?
