Hi,

I am looking for an app to sell tickets for live stream. I want automatic notification reminders before the events.

Have someone figured out how to do that?

Hi Phil,

What kind of notifications types are you looking for? Email, SMS, Social? Also how are you handling the ticket sales? We can build a custom app to handle the entire redemption and notification.

Are you using Zoom or Twitch or any other livestreaming platform to stream?

All,

I recently launched an app to sell tickets for livestreams over Zoom. If anyone is interested in a demo, send me a message and we can coordinate a time to meet.

Hey Eli,

Would it be possible to just send me the link?

Yep, here you go: https://joinhologram.com

One thing to note is that you won't see a Shopify add-on in the app. We're still deciding whether to natively support Shopify, so any comments or feedback you have will help us make our decision.

This is an accepted solution.

So I have been searching around for the last few weeks and I have found nothing.

Therefore I decided to code it myself. It is in beta right now and free at the moment.

If you want to try it just install it (it is still unlisted) : https://starstream-shopify-app.herokuapp.com/

Here what the app does:

  • Convert a product to a live stream event
  • Enter the secret link and the date/time of the event
  • The app takes care of sending the secret link
    • 24 hours before the event begins
    • 1 hour and 5 minutes before so that the people connect to the stream (to increase engagement)

From my research it is the standard to send the link 24 hours before the event. This allows for the event to be open enough so that everybody can connect, and limits cross sharing of the link.

We have launched an app this week that main suit best for this requirement, it's listed here -> https://apps.shopify.com/servv

Servv provides a tight integratration with Zoom and Google Calendar, and allows you to create free and paid tickets for users.
