I recently got an iPhone 11 and cannot open the Shopify app on it. It just keeps crashing. I have deleted the app and re loaded it, turned the phone off and on etc.
I have also been on to Vodaphone support, who said to contact Apple support. Apple support tried but couldn't figure it out and said to ask Shopify !
Has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you resolve it ?
I’ve had this problem twice so far. I’ve resolved it by going into the system settings app, selecting Shopify, and then way at the bottom is the option to reset all session objects. You’ll have to log in again but this seems to do the trick.
As to why it is happening, I believe that the Siri suggestions/learning options in settings are corrupting sessions. You can turn all that off in settings too but make sure you leave Show in App Search or it will disappear when you look for the app.
