Over the last 2 days I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with eBay trying to navigate their security profiles.
Apparently whats happened (to my account at least) is that the Shopify Integration/Engine attempted to log in too many times over a short period and eBay locked my account due to potentially suspicious behaviour.
After resecuring my eBay account, New Passwords, 2 step Authentication, New Secret questions etc. and several callbacks, they were able to reset the Security Flag on my account.
Security Flag/Error - 57 - apparently !
However, when I try and reconnect to eBay via the Connect button in Shopify, I get the same message.
eBay support is sending me an email so I can respond with screenshots and copies of the link from the eBay pop-up authentication window.
