I use Shopify reviews for many of my customers looking for a free option. Those who want to spend a little more use trustpilot or yopto.

Depending on your business, you can have an app with reviews added on the product page, or the option to import them via the major e-commerce platforms. Also, you could add an Instagram feed as a way to showcase some social proof.

This is a very broad and always arguable question since it always depends on users preferences and the functionality of the app.

Also, it depends on your budget as it has been mentioned above. Therefore, you need to make a choice.

Reviews are more persuasive when they are plentiful. 

Do not be shy about asking your customers to leave a review after making a purchase to encourage more feedback. 

Usually, customers who are happy with your product will not contemplate featuring a review. Giving them a gentle push, and they'll probably be happy to share with others their positive experiences.

You can incentivize them with loyalty points for leaving a review. Also, by offering buyers a small discount after they make a purchase if they leave feedback. You can give Loyalty Points for dropping a review. This will encourage them to come back for the redemption of those points.

Thus, reviews and feedback if positive can be used as an amplifier to boost your sales and will help in building goodwill in your store.
