Hey there, @hoodsom!
Ryder here, from the Social Care Team at Shopify. Welcome to the Community, and thanks for posting! I'd be happy to see what I can suggest, in hopes of pointing you in the right direction to find the whiskey glasses that you're looking for. Are you looking for a dropshipping supplier, or were you wanting to purchase products wholesale? Or perhaps, a dropshipping wholesale supplier? Where have you already looked for suppliers thus far?
We have several dropshipping apps within the Shopify App Store that supply a variety of products. Have you tried any of these? If you haven't already, I recommend checking out our Oberlo app. Oberlo acts as a marketplace for merchants to browse through a variety of products from different suppliers, and works in connection with AliExpress as well.
Without having done any research on any of the suppliers, I did conduct a quick search within Oberlo for 'whiskey glass' products being sold to Canada, and I came up with 6,018 search results. As you can see in the picture below, not all of those results are whiskey glasses; however, there appears to be a decent variety of options.
AliExpress turned up with a lot of results as well:
I also added the word 'engrave' to the above AliExpress search, and came across this supplier that does custom work to a number of products - including whiskey glasses. Without having used this supplier myself I'm unable to speak as to their reliability, so it's important to do your research regarding any supplier you consider working with. For example, you can try contacting them to see how responsive they are. If they operate in a timely and supportive manner, you'll know that they'll probably be responsive should any issues arise with a future order. Check out our guide on How to Find and Work with Reliable Dropshipping Suppliers for more helpful tips!
You also don't necessarily need to search for suppliers within the Shopify App Store. Some third-party suppliers will have their own private apps that can integrate with the Shopify platform. If you're looking for a wholesaler, you can simply purchase straight from them and manage your inventory from within the Admin. If they're fulfilling orders for you, you can add them as a custom fulfillment service. This way, whenever an order containing their products is marked as fulfilled the supplier will receive an email with the order details to ship out. In addition to using supplier apps in the Shopify App Store, I've personally worked with Print-on-Demand companies externally through Google when I couldn't find products that met my business needs, so don't be afraid to outsource. I've also heard of merchants who have had success connecting with suppliers through hiring Experts, as they have the experience of working with merchants and multiple dropshipping suppliers.
When your shop is all ready to go, don't miss out on posting in our Feedback On My Store section of the Community Forums to receive constructive feedback from Shopify staff, Experts, and other experienced members of our Community. We'd love to help get your business off the ground!
I hope this helps! Please let me know if there's anything I can clarify.
I just stumbled across this question. Coincidentally, we are a blown glass studio in California and do custom blown glassware, including whiskey glasses, decanters, etc. We do custom shapes, engraving, etching and custom molds for brand/logos pressed in the bottom as well. We are handmade, so not your cheapest supplier, but are doing custom works for whiskey distillers that sell them together with their limited single barrel editions. we are at www.montereyglassworks.com. shoot me a note if you are still looking for a partner supplier.
