A tip for your store if you use the locksmith app

Hello!  I, like the title suggests, I have an idea for you to use on your store.  We are a screen printing/ embroidey company that has a few account with various buisnesses (custom logos, etc), but we also sell to consumers.  We are using the Locksmith app (https://apps.shopify.com/locksmith), and are tagging customers by the password they enter to a 'corporate page'.  Say you enter the password 'farmer'.  You account will be tagged with the tag 'farmer', and you will be taken to the page that has a link.

That page is using a template that is made just for it.  It is just a page templat with the following added into the code (location depends on the theme):

{% if customer.tags contains 'farmer' %}
      <img src="enter image html here" />
      	{% endif %}

{% if customer.tags contains 'trucker' %}
      <img src="enter image html here" />
      	{% endif %}

{% if customer.tags contains 'chef' %}
      <img src="enter image html here" />
      	{% endif %}

Those images are banners that will welocme users to their collection.  since entering the password tagged them, ONLY their banner will show on the page (you can put 'Welcom farmers!" or something to that nature).  It is  simple way to make them feel special.

also on that page, we have a link to their collection. that is a lie: what we really have is a link to a collection that holds ALL the collections.  every item used by a company (we have a few items that anyone can buy, without company logos) is tagged with a 'company' tag, and the collection includes all itmes tagged with 'company'.

We lock the companys collections (for example, all of the items with the farmers logo is put in one collection), and make the password the tag that corrosponds with them.  Then We just link that master company collection to the page with the custom page tmeplate

Now, if they enter the collection, they will see only their items, but we needed only one link!  that way, the page looks like it is custom made for them, but in fact it is shared by ALL of the companys!

anyway, that is what I did.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask!  i can take screenshots if anyone needed them and answer any problems you may have.

Our new store is going to be chameleonusa.myshopify.com,  (we are updating our old site chameleonusa.net, but won't change the url over till we are happy with the new design).  We also have a site called kodausa.net where we sew-and-sell high end aprons.  anyway, I thought someone might be able to use what I have been working on

Thanks for sharing this!

Do you know how to dynamically add the tags associated with the customer instead of manually inputting it in?
