Adding Sold Out and Sale Badges To Search Results and Product Page

Hi,

I'm trying to get the sale and sold out badges to appear over the images on the search results display ,in the same way that they do on collection pages. We're using Minimal and have the search results set to grid.

We'd also like to add the badges to the product page images for variants that are sold out or on sale.

I've tried to work code from the product-grid-item.liquid into the search-result and search-result-grid but haven't haven't had any success.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
