Adding Women's Refuge Shielded Site Logo to your website?

Hi there. I would like to add the Women's Refuge logo to our website, but I'm unsure how to do this.

The shielded site project provides the html code and says "copy and paste the below code into your website's html":

src="https://d3f5l8ze0o4j2m.cloudfront.net/m87/k33spt.js"></script>         <script>             (function () {                window.onload = function(){                     var frameName = new ds07o6pcmkorn({                         openElementId: "#element-id"                     });                     frameName.init();                 }             })();         </script>

But I have no idea where in our website's code to paste this.  Have tried a few places and nothing happens.

I'd like to add it into the footer of our website , ideally next to the social icons, as if it is another social icon. We use the Narrative theme.

Any help on how to do this would be much appreciated, would love to support this great initiative.

To see an example of the shielded project button on a live webpage, you can see it here in the very bottom right of the footer on this website.Button in the very bottom rightButton in the very bottom right

Thanks!

Hello

You are working on which theme? please share your site url.
Its looking that you have to add some code in footer.liquid file.
1. Upload your logo on assets folder.

2. Add some code like this in footer.liquid

<a href=""> <img src="{{ 'logo_image.png' | asset_url }}" class="logo_image_class"></a>

3. Give the name of logo you have uploaded.

Try this and let me know if any help needed.

Hi @Jasoliya

Thanks for your response.  Unfortunately that was one of the places I had already tried to add the code into and it didn't work.

Do I just add it in to the very bottom of the footer.liquid code?

Hi @oscprofessional

Thanks for your reply. We are using the Narrative theme. Our website isn't live yet as it's still in development, so I can't share a URL.

However you can see the button I am talking about in action on Trade Me for example (www.trademe.co.nz).

It's the button at the very bottom right of the home page.

It's not just a logo - it's an interactive button designed by women's refuge for any website to give domestic abuse survivors a way of getting information on how they can get out of their situation without actually googling womens refuge and having it in their search history for their abusers to find. It's all explained on the women's refuge shielded site here https://shielded.co.nz/.

So I don't think it's as simple as adding in a logo unfortunately.

Hello

Yes, thats not simple logo it generates popup to disply information,
if you want to display like that you have to do lots of customization in js,css, html code that you have to add in footer.liquid file.

Hmmm ok thanks @oscprofessional.

The shielded site says its as simple as pasting the code they provide into your website's html, but I guess not in the case of Shopify!

I'll contact the shielded site technical team and see if they can help.

Cheers
